The United Way of Bruce Grey has announced that a new Interim Executive Director will be stepping in to fill Francesca Dobbyn's shoes while she takes a shot at politics.
Daniel Moore has a history in United Way culture, having worked as a management consultant, most recently for United Way Guelph, Wellington, and Dufferin for a decade.
Moore has lived in Bruce Grey for nearly 30 years with his family.
He will be working for the next 8 weeks, and the outcome of the political race will determine whether Francesca returns, or is replaced more permanently.
Francesca is taking a leave of absence beginning today, because she is seeking the liberal nomination in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound riding.
Dobbyn is hoping to unseat Bill Walker, the conservative who is the MPP in the riding.
