The iconic train station down at the Port Elgin Main Beach is officially for sale.
The train was listed for sale by owners Andy and Debbie Hess.
The business is owned by the Hess family but it sits on municipal property at the beach.
The listing price for the entire business is $499,000.
Whoever purchases the business will NOT own the property, and will have to negotiate a new lease agreement with the Town of Saugeen Shores.
Potential buyers can opt to purchase just the train and tracks, which Scott Saunders, Broker with Re/Max Land Exchange, Ltd. says will set you back $299,000.
Saunders says that he would like to find a buyer that ''has the same kind of vision as the current owners have had for the last 25 years, and bring the train back to life on Port Elgin's beach''.
