Kim Keskinen gave birth to her son Xavier only 10 weeks ago, and this past week the first-time mother also became a first time business owner.
K'mon Let's Play is a new indoor play space in Owen Sound.
The space is packed full of toys and activities for children of all ages and even features a cafe style snack bar and sitting area for parents to relax.
Keskinen, a behavioural therapist in Toronto for years got the idea well working for Autism Behavioural Services.
"Every day when it was bad outside we wanted to take the kids somewhere to just run around, let loose and be kids," Kaskinen explains, "there was nothing like that here so that kind of sparked the idea."
Keskinen says she's always wanted a job working with children and wants to provide a place for children to have fun and be themselves.
She says her goal is to make the play space a welcoming environment for the community with changing themes and toys as well as events like an upcoming Halloween dance.
Keskinen says that she wants to get her business involved in the community with goals of hosting various drives and fundraisers in the future.
K'mon Let's Play Space had its grand opening on October 5th.
