Georgian College will be holding a virtual Open House on Saturday. ( Jan 23 )
Kristy Linklater, the Associate Director of Marketing and Recruitment relates the college annually conducts a pair of Open House events, but with COVID-19 they had to alter the format for Saturday’s event and make it virtual.
Linklater says with the number of Georgian College campuses and the number of courses they offer, making the shift to virtual was both a big challenge, yet an exciting project to create.
Georgian College has 7 campuses which offers more than 130 full-time programs, plus options for part-time and online learning.
The Virtual Open House will provide the opportunity to experience life at Georgian and learn more about their many programs, along with campus life and student services.
Additionally as part of the Open House, Georgian College will be offering a chance to win $5,000 towards tuition and will present information on applying for free.
