Nathaniel Clauser won the derby with a 21.72 pound salmon
Mike Hahn of the Lake Huron Fishing Club joined The Great Paul Hill on the 560 CFOS Morning Show and explained the biggest fish were caught fairly early in the derby.
Nathaniel Clauser won $ 15,000 with the heaviest Salmon while Rick Barker had the heaviest Trout and won $ 7,500 in the Chantry Chinook Classic.
Still ahead this month, the annual Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular and the Denis Bester Memorial Shootout will be staged.
