Huron Shores Hospice is getting a $25,000 donation from Bruce Power in support of their virtual campaign.
A release notes, leading up to the Hope for Hospice 2.0 – the ungala-gala event on Sept. 16, Bruce Power made the donation to provide support for Huron Shore’s annual fundraising campaigns.
Co-Chair of Huron Shores Hospice Cheryl Cottrill says, “we are so grateful for the continued support of Bruce Power and welcome their partnership in creating a world where end-of-life receives the same beauty, care and respect as the beginning, by creating moments that matter.
Bruce Power President and CEO Mike Rencheck notes, Bruce Power has been a supporter of Huron Shores Hospice since day one, and this year is no different.
“I would like to thank everyone who will join the virtual event to raise money for compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in our community,” says Rencheck.
The online event is aiming to raise $150,000 and there will also be a silent auction.
