Saturday is Goods Exchange Day in West Grey.
On June 25th, you can label items you wish to give away as “Free” and place them at the curb.
West Grey encourages people to tour their neighbourhoods to see what great deals can be found at the curb.
Numerous communities have goods exchange days to help keep unwanted household items out of the landfill by giving them away.
It’s an opportunity to give away gently used household items such as furniture, appliances or childrens’ toys.
The Municipality also suggests you move bikes, toys, and gardening tools away from the curb to prevent misunderstandings.
West Grey says all leftover items must be removed from the curb the following day.
