The Township of Huron-Kinloss Fire Department is asking for input on creating a 10-year fire master plan.
The township says the fire department, comprised of the Ripley and Lucknow Fire Departments, is made up of a team of full-time and volunteer personnel who respond to emergencies and calls for assistance from both Ripley and Lucknow stations.
The new master plan will act as a guide for operational improvements as well as enhance how the service is provided.
The fire department is working with Emergency Management Group, a consulting firm, to assist with the master plan. The firm has worked with other fire departments to develop their master plans, station assessments, and fire service reviews.
The deadline for residents to take part in the survey is Nov. 7 and can be completed here.
