Owen Sound Attack goaltender Carter George is heading to the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects game in Moncton, N.B. next month.
George, 17, is considered among the top goaltenders eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft in Vegas. He was given a B rating by NHL Central Scouting in its prelminary report on prospects, as a potential second- or third-round pick.
The Thunder Bay native has an 11-10-2 record for the Attack this season, and is second in the OHL with a .910 save percentage and among the top-10 goaltenders with a 3.12 goals-against average.
According to a release from the team, George will become the 20th Owen Sound Attack/Plater to appear in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects game. The last Attack goaltender to receive an invite was Michael McNiven in 2015.
