Grey Bruce OPP say one person is dead following a collision in Springmount.
Police say on Dec. 23 around 5:41 a.m., officers responded to a collision on highway 6, where initial reports indicate a vehicle had collided with a pedestrian who suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services responded to the incident and police say a 47-year-old from South Bruce Peninsula was transported to Brightshores Health System where they were pronounced dead.
Highway 6 northbound from Springmount to Grey Road 17 was closed for a time but has since reopened.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing and did not name the deceased.
