Turkey dinner was apparently exactly what the Bears needed.
Deni Goure scored a hat trick and added five assists, finishing with eight points to set a new Owen Sound franchise record for points in a game, as the Attack whacked the Niagara Ice Dogs 10-2 in their first game back from the Ontario Hockey League Christmas break Thursday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Jake Crawford and Ethan Burroughs each added a pair of goals, while Sam Sedley, Declan Waddick and Antonio Tersigni added singles for the Attack (16-13-2-1).
Owen Sound ended a three-game slide.
Brody Crane and Bronson Ride scored the goals for Niagara (8-20-4-1).
Saturday, the Attack play their final home game of 2023. They host the Kitchener Rangers (24-8-2).
