Georgian Bluffs is appointing a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Niall Lobley was appointed to the role after having already served the township as its Acting CAO and Director of Community and Environmental Services.
Mayor Sue Carleton says, “during that time, has has been instrumental in working with council, staff and the community on various initiatives from climate action plan to short term accommodations.”
He has over 25 years of experience in public service in Canada and the United Kingdom, and has formal training in environmental science, risk management, project management, and with municipal operations, property, team leadership, and strategic planning.
Lobley says it has been a pleasure to serve the township and is delighted to have the opportunity to support council and provide leadership to staff.
“The Township of Georgian Bluffs has welcomed my family as new residents over the last 18-months and I look forward to continuing to work with the community over coming years,” says Lobley.
Carleton adds council is confident Lobley will continue to lead the township successfully.
“His enthusiasm, experience and expertise will support Georgian Bluffs as we move our community vision forward,” says Carleton.
