Carter Moran had 11 points to lead the Owen Sound North Stars to a 12-11 win over the Cambridge Highlanders in Ontario Junior B lacrosse action Thursday evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Moran had four goals and seven assists. Everest L’Homme Wickens scored three for Owen Sound, while Talen Brown had a pair and Wes Grant, Kole Hutchinson and Nate Laycock added singles.
Dylan Gillespie led Cambridge with three goals.
The North Stars improved to 5-5 with the win.
Saturday night, Owen Sound hosts the Point Edward Pacers at the Bayshore in a special hospice fundraising game. Admission is free, but donations are being encouraged. Game time is 7 p.m.
