The Municipality of Meaford is asking everyone to avoid parking along the parade route ahead of Saturday’s celebrations.
In preparation for the 150th Anniversary and Heritage parade that will be taking place Saturday afternoon, the town is advising residents and visitors to avoid parking along St. Vincent Street.
Barricades will be put in place along St. Vincent to the Harbour from 12 p.m. and will be removed after the parade wraps up at 2 p.m.
The parade is scheduled to take place between 1 and 1:45 that afternoon.
During that time, OPP officers will not allow any barriers to be moved.
Anyone needing to enter or exit through that area can get help from the parade marshal.
