The Nuclear Innovation Institute is launching its Climate Project to help deliver localized climate change research.
The NII launched the program as a way to share scientific studies related to climate change through a living, trusted, and accessible digital hub.
The information shared by the Climate Project includes invasive species because of warmer climates.
It also takes a look at what rising temperatures mean for native species in the ecosystem, and what it means for the people of the region and industry.
The Climate Project is funded by Bruce Power and is looking to gather scientific research from qualified sources through conservation authorities, local Indigenous communities, industry partners, academia, and all levels of government.
