The City of Owen Sound is holding an open house next month to shine a light on it services and upcoming projects.
The event on Nov. 7 will be held at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., where attendees will be able to engage directly with city staff.
Additionally, people will be able to connect with community groups and meet with neighbours, local leaders, and key service providers.
Some of the groups attending include Community Foundation Grey Bruce, Grey Bruce Public Health, the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library, Owen Sound Police, and the CMHA Grey Bruce Mental Health and Addictions Services.
Mayor Ian Boddy says, “understanding how our city operates is key to building a stronger community. This open house will shed light on the services we provide and how they impact the city, and it will offer and opportunity to answer questions from our citizens.”
