This week’s “Country 93 Local Hero” is… Jessica Wice!
Pauline and Bob, who nominated Jessica, said: “One evening recently, my husband & I were travelling along Bruce Road 10, heading towards Hepworth, when we hit a deer. Our car was totally damaged but we were able to get out and flag down a motorist. A kind lady named Jessica stopped & noticed what happened and called 911. Soon the ambulance and police arrived. Jessica stayed with us the entire time. I mentioned to her that her family would be concerned where she was. She said that she would rather be with us and she offered to drive us home to Sauble Beach. We are so grateful to Jessica for assisting us!”
