There are rainfall warnings and freezing rain warnings in place for Grey Bruce for Wednesday.
Environment Canada says we could get freezing rain with 4-8 mm of ice on some surfaces Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
They note, “This freezing rain event will not be nearly as significant as the ice storm from this past weekend.”
They do add however, easterly winds gusting 50 to 60 km/h may further damage vulnerable trees.
When the temperature rises, they say we could get 30 to 50 mm of rain.
Environment Canada says the ground, already near saturation, has little ability to absorb further rainfall.
Meanwhile, the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority has a flood watch in place for all of its watersheds.
