Grey Bruce OPP say they issued several warnings to ATV drivers while conducting patrols in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula recently.
Police say on Oct. 22 members from the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team conducted patrols in the area, and officers came in contact with several riders during their time out.
OPP say they checked for proper safety equipment, safe and legal operating behaviours and proper documentation.
During the patrols, OPP say they stopped 24 ATVs and one vehicle.
Police say they issued a notice for disobeying a stop sign, as well as four warnings to riders for not having a trail permit and one warning for an expired proof of insurance.
Grey Bruce OPP are reminding and encouraging riders to make sure they have proper safety equipment and maintain up to date documentation before they head out on trail systems,
