There’s a road closure of note starting today in Owen Sound’s northeast end.
The City says, in order to ensure worker safety during construction, the County has determined that Grey Road 15 / East Bayshore Road will be fully closed on weekdays between 3rd Avenue East and 32nd Street East from August 16th to August 23rd.
A signed detour route will be established routing traffic around the site.
The road closure details are as follows:
– 7am to 5pm – Tuesday August 16th to Thursday August 18th inclusive
– 7am to 7pm – Friday August 19th and Monday August 22nd
– 7am to 5pm – Tuesday August 23rd
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through as required.
The closure is to accommodate sewer and forcemain construction at the new pump station.
