Voters in Georgian Bluffs will have the chance to learn more about those running for council in the township tonight.
The Island View Drive and Area Ratepayers Association is hosting an all candidates meeting in the Kemble-Sarawak United Church at 7 p.m.
There are three people in the running to be the next mayor of Georgian Bluffs. Incumbent Dwight Burley is being challenged by current deputy mayor Sue Carleton, and Scott Catto.
Eight people are on the ballot for the township’s five council seats. Grant Pringle was already acclaimed as deputy mayor for the next term of council, after being the only candidate to file prior to the August nomination deadline.
Municipal and school board elections in Ontario are being held on Oct. 24.
