The Bruce County Housing Corporation is partnering with CLEAResult to provide energy-saving updates at County Housing Facilities.
The county says in a release, its staff are currently working to implement no-cost upgrades, which will keep overall operating costs in check.
Some of these upgrades include, LED light bulbs, faucet aerators, water-efficient showerheads, smart powerstips for entertainment systems and home offices, refrigerator replacements, freezer replacements, window air conditioner replacements, dehumidifier replacements, smart thermostats for electric baseboard heaters, insulation upgrades, and draft proofing.
“Saving energy can help reduce the cost of monthly electricity bills,” says the county.
