The Township of Georgian Bluffs is looking to create a comprehensive update to their Official Plan.
An Open House was conducted in late September at the Shallow Lake Community Centre for residents of Georgian Bluffs.
Mayor Sue Carleton was unable to attend that Open House.
Appearing recently on Home Base with Brandon Vanderschot on 560 CFOS, Mayor Carleton related that input was submitted for the Official Plan at the Open House and the steps to formulating the Official Plan can now commence.
The Township is looking to update their official plan and contend with a variety of issues including housing, economic development, settlement areas, climate change, and community improvement planning.
The existing Official Plan for the community was developed in 2014.
