A beaver who decided to take a stroll through downtown Owen Sound’s west side today is making the rounds on social media.
Public Works staff took the time to guide the beaver back towards the river from where it was strolling along at 9th Street and 2nd Avenue West.
The city, and people who passed by have posted pictures of it on Facebook and Instagram, with one person naming it “Owen.”
